Founded in 1945 by Alister Macdonald, Macdonald & Porter Inc. is Hawaii's oldest food brokerage. Now a third generation family owned business, Macdonald & Porter has grown to serve many different industries in the State of Hawaii. We are a full service broker and work with manufacturers to establish and grow their business in the state of Hawaii. In addition to brokerage, Macdonald & Porter has grown to offer distribution services for grocery and produce items Islandwide. We specialize in fresh fruits and vegetables from the Mainland as well as locally sourced items from the neighbor islands. We distribute to retail, foodservice, and military customers on Oahu.
