When Minit Stop first opened its doors more than four decades ago, the idea was refreshingly simple: bring convenience and community together under one roof—and do it the local way. Long before “self‑serve” became industry standard, Minit Stop was already leading the way. In 1982, the company pioneered Maui’s first self‑service gas station on Dairy Road. That original location is still pumping today, proudly standing in front of the Dairy Road Minit Stop store—a reminder that innovation and staying power can coexist.

Today, Minit Stop is 18 locations strong, with eight stores on Maui and ten on Hawaiʻi Island, and the company continues to grow with purpose.
