Hawaii PFAS Ban Webinar

Description

Act 152 (2022) prohibits the manufacture, sale, or distribution for sale or use of paper food packaging that contain perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (collectively known as PFAS). This measure takes effect December 31, 2024. Michael Burke, Environmental Health Program Manager, Food and Drug Branch, Hawai‘i State Department of Health will give a presentation on the law to help businesses get ready to come into compliance.
